Gap briefs

Ok so they're not exactly men's underwear but these are really cool. These are boys gap briefs. I saw these and thought that flames were just so cool. They make much cooler briefs for boys then they do for men. If men's briefs were as colorful and patterned as boys briefs then they wouldn't be labeled as so boring. Although they are boys and are a bit small who cares? The tight feel on one's package feels great and looks hot and gives great support. The waist is boys xxs-xxl which is about waist sizes 19"-32.5". That's not too small. It would just be snug and fitting. But no one will be able to tell because the waistband and seams are just the same as the adult versions (just the adult version don't have the cool designs). I just thought that these briefs were really cool looking and really hot (no pun intended). They come in 3 packs from GAP and are usually $12.50 for the three pack, currently they are on sale for $7.99 for the three (both prices are a great value, you can barely even get one men's brief for that price!). I suggest that if you like cool character, cartoon, colorful, or graphic briefs that you try out boys briefs. True they are pretty tight but they look great.

Baskit Boxer-Briefs

Sorry I haven't blogged in such a long time. Well here's an interesting developement in men's underwear. It comes from Baskit. These are Bakit boxer briefs made from 100% cotton. They have a mesh contour pouch, and a wide microfiber, elastic waistband with the words /baskit/ written on it. I really think that the contour pouch is really cool and is very unique to Baskit. Here is one of the coolest parts of this boxer brief. They have a built-in condom pouch inside so you'll always have protection with you no matter where you are. I think that that's pretty cool and handy. They are a little pricey though. At Bare Necessities they can be bought for $18.00.

Today's Poll:
Do you think that a condom pouch in underwear would be a really cool thing to have and very handy or do you just think that it's kinda gross?

Thongs

Thongs are becoming a huge trend in men's underwear. They aren't just for girls or strippers anymore. They can be, and are, worn by many guys as just regular day underwear. These thongs are made and designed for and with guys in mind, so they have a pouch on the front to give room to allow for the package. Thongs are basically just a waistband with a pouch attached on the front and a string that goes in the butt-crack on the back. They can come in a variety of styles, fabrics, designs, and sizes. Of course thongs aren't for all body types because they are very revealing and very small, you have to be fairly fit to look good in them. These particular thongs are made by Intimo. They have an Angel on the front with a red background. I believe they are meant for the holidays but really they can be worn any time for a bit of comic-relief. Who says that men can't have fun? But get this deal. Thongs are normally quite expensive, these are no exception. They are normally 12 bucks. But for some reason they are on clearance (probably out of season) so they only cost $5 at intimo.com!!!! That's an amazing deal so if you want one you better hurry up and get one quick.

Gap boxer-brief trunks

These are an interesting developement. They are really cool looking and have very stylish stripes. They are both the same in terms of style and fit. But the colors and cost are different. In terms of similarity they are both a trunk style boxer-brief that are fairly low rise and come up to around mid-calf. They have no fly which allows for a nice streamlined look. But it does have a pouch front to allow for the well-endowed. Also they both have a GAP logo waistband. One thing that I think is pretty cool is that these are one of the few brands of men's underwear out there that I've found that comes in sizes xs-xxl. That's a huge range. That basically means that it will fit waist sizes 26-45 or something close to that. The first picture shows the brand new style that just came out and costs $12.50 at Gap. It also comes in goldfish orange and grey (pictured is royal blue and grey). The second square-cut boxer-brief is currently sold-out at gap.com. I don't know if they have it in stores or not but I hope they do because I would like to purchase a pair. This is $6.99 at gap (when in stock of course) and is shown in aloe green, but also comes in bluestone.

FINALly done.

Ok so I am so sorry that I have blogged in awhile. As you may know I just finished up finals and then I got preoccupied with major speech tournaments. Anyways all that had me wearing my lucky underwear for quite a few days in a row (yellow plaid boxers with a black waistband.). But I am now available to blog. I am amazed at how many visitors I have gotten in such a short time to this blog. I am proud to announce that the counter has now gotten to about 450 in just a week and that this site is now part of all major searchengines, and some not so major search engines. But I guess you probably don't care because this blog is not about searchengines. It's about underwear. So I'm going to tell you about underwear. I am just going to share some of my recent underwear experiences with you. And then I will start blogging about certain kinds of undies in the next post. Anywho the other night I was dancing, long story. But long story short the dance involved a lot of jumping up and down. Anywho I was wearing boxers (bad plan) and by the end of it I ended up with them up to my navel and giving me a huge wedgie. So just some advice. DON'T wear boxers while dancing. Another thing that I find interesting is how absolutely no one at my school seems to wear adequete support or protection while doing athletic endeavors. All they seem to wear is boxer shorts. The most I've ever seen is compression shorts. I mean seriously haven't these guys ever heard of jockstraps? Maybe they should come here to find out about them ;) Seriously thought they probably won't learn until they get really hurt. Plus it's not very nice to have it bouncing around while you're running. Oh well. But I was wondering what you've noticed at your school or in lockerrooms you've been in. So that leads to the poll of the day.

Poll of the day:
What do you notice most guys wearing, in terms of underwear, in lockerrooms you've been in?

No Underwear Week

Well you could take this in a couple ways. You could think that I want you to go around commando (without underwear) for a week. But this is not what I mean. What I mean is I won't have time this coming up week to blog about underwear so I just wanted to give you a heads-up that I am not quitting I just don't have time. In the mean time comment on posts. Do the polls. Try out some new underwear. And e-mail me some suggestions about what to blog about when I get back. Thank you for underwe...sorry I get so used to typing underwear...understanding.

Denim boxer-brief

Here is a cool boxer-brief made by Unico(Unico's site is hard to navigate unless you speak spanish). It is made with a heathered wash to give it the look of denim but the nice softness of cotton. It also has some spandex in it for that nice fitted look. It has no fly and looks like it has a seperate penis pouch on the front. It also has a tab logo on it so it gives it that genuine blue jean look. It comes in heather, blue, sky, or red. Shown is sky. It has a logo waistband that says "XXX"(that's the line of Unico) on it. If you look at the second picture you can see that it is put together in a unique way and has different seams than normal underwear to help enhance the whole look. It is available on Amazon for $14.99. I think these are really nice. They give nice support and have a comfortable feel with a novelty denim look. The price is fairly good for the look. I would recommend these for all occasions.

Boxer Briefs

One of the new big things in men's underwear is boxer-briefs. For a long time the mainstream options have been just briefs and boxers. But now boxer-briefs is making a huge breakthrough as a nice compromise alternative. Boxer-briefs are for the man who likes the support of briefs and the cut of boxers. Many consider these boxer-briefs to be "the best of both worlds". Boxer-briefs are basically trunks with a bit longer legs. I am quite fond of boxer-briefs and like all the different options there are in boxer-briefs. Besides being comfortable they are also very stylish. Most briefs don't come with interesting patterns and prints on them like boxers. But boxer-briefs can have patterns and prints. A very popular one that I have seen a lot of is horizontal stripes. In the future I plan on blogging a lot about all the different kinds of boxer-briefs there are. These particular boxer-briefs are made by 2(x)ist. They are called 2(x)ist Men's Cotton Boxer Brief on Amazon. A quote from 2(x)ist says "What Makes 2(x)ist so special? 2(x)ist has redefined men's underwear. Attention to detail, coupled with superb quality and numerous options in style, fabrics, colors and fit are what have made 2(x)ist the underwear of choice for contemporary, body conscious men." This is a pretty big thing to live up to but I think 2(x)ist does a very good job of living up to their expectations for theirselves. This particular boxer-brief is made out of 100% cotton with a 1x1 rib layout. They have an exposed microfiber logo waistband. The silhouette is a 3-part gusset with center panel grain cut vertically and side panels cut horizontally. And they have a fully functioning fly that has the look of no fly so that the fly doesn't fly open in an inconveinent time. It also has a special design so that it won't ride up and give you a wedgie. Which is really nice because most tight underwear has a tendancy to do this and if you are trying to work and get things done it can be a little annoying to have your "knickers" in a knot in your ass. Altogether 2(x)ist's boxer-brief is very well designed. Although I personally haven't tried these out for myself many people online and that I know love them and I am very tempted to go out and buy some right now after I finish this post. Basically that is a strong recommendation so if you are into underwear, which is why you are here, then you should definately own some of these in your collection.

Classic Brief from aussieBum

Yes you think that briefs are boring, but they don't have to be. These are very practical briefs from aussieBum. AussieBum makes "underwear made by Australian guys for guys all over". These are really nice briefs. They are low-rise so they won't show above your low-rise jeans. They are sexy. They are good quality. They are made out of durable 100% cotton and are ribbed. And this particular kind are ice blue. They are a bit on the pricey side but they look great, feel great, wear great, and last long. And they are a great modification to the standard boring white brief. These briefs will help you stand out from the crowd. They cost $17.95 at Amazon.com.

Sock Jock

Here is a new kind of underwear. It is made by International Male or Undergear(the reason for the uncertainty is I'm unsure who makes it because both of their websites say they do and amazon gives credit to both as well) and it's called the Sock Jockstrap. This is really kind of cool because it has no straps. It just has a waistband with a jock front attached. The jock front is designed so that it stays on by slipping over your penis and the elastic keeps it in place (view little thumbnail on photo for more explanation). It is not recommended for athletics because it gives no support and would probably just fall off. This is really just a novelty and would make a nice turn-on. I think that it is a really good idea and maybe with a little tweaking would be safe for sports. The main reason that one would want to wear this is for a seamless look under clothing. In other words, it doesn't show through your clothing with underwear lines because obviously there is no back and you package makes it so there are none in the front. Need I explain anymore? I don't think so. Anyways I just thought that you might want to check out this exciting new option. It is avaliable at Amazon for $9.99.

Bodysuit

We've all seen the stereotypical bodysuit. The big bulky red things that cover your whole body and button up the front. Yes the kind that only a beer belly looks comfortable in. But that's not what I'm going to talk about in this blog. I'm going to talk about a new kind of bodysuit that Undergear has designed. These bodysuits are really sexy. They are not your typical kind. They have a scoop neck to show off your pecs. And they have a thong back. This is the new thing in underwear. Basically you get your undershirt and undershorts in one. The black one has big scoops in the side to give a tempting look of your skin. The only thing is that it would look a little odd under clothes because if your shirt lifts up there will be a really odd looking scoop of skin showing. The black ones would better to wear as a turn-on in the bedroom. The white ones however would be really nice to where under your clothes because as I said you get all your underwear in one. And the thong and the scoop are really sexy and ribbed. The only problem I could forsee with both of them is that if you sit down or something or it rides up the thong might get caught in your crack and give you a pretty nasty wedgie which would be pretty awkward to pick out. But both of these bodysuits probably look best on a good body; they're not like the big red ones that basically no one looks good in. They are very fitted one could give people a tantilizing look of your body through them. I haven't tried them but they look like a nice thing and I am tempted to buy some except for the price. The white one is currently $19.99 and the black one is $29.99. Although I guess it is pretty good considering that if you bought a thong and a scoop shirt it would cost quite a bit more. So use your judgement but this is a very new and interesting development to consider.

Underwear over the ages (well ok over the decades)

The trends in male underwear have changed over the years. For quite some time every man and boy wore the same kind of underwear as the next. But now there are a lot more options. Some might even say that today's youth have more options than their fathers did. Some might argue that underwear goes in phases. The grandpa age probably wore boxers when he was young. The middle aged men now probably wore briefs when they were young. But today's teenagers have many more options. A lot more is accepted and tolerated in underwear. Or so some might argue.

But I want to explain what this blog is about. Every post will have some topic and then will have a poll where you answer by commenting on the post to the poll. The poll will relate to the topic. If you have any other comments feel free to post them as well. If you have any tips on what I should blog about then feel free to send them to me.

Today's Poll:
What kind of underwear do you think most teenagers today wear?
