WildmanT update

WildmanT is a company that I have been telling you about for a while, they are the ones behind the new Ball Lifter. But did you know that they are a family run company? Neither did I. All the underwear is hand-sewn by family members. They have been having trouble meeting the rush as of late (what with their excellent new products and high demand for them), therefore they will be switching to a manufacturer soon. Also, the Ball Lifters are back in stock (they sold out almost immediately and were on back order, but they are all caught up now and back on sale). So hurry now before they sell out again. The images you see are from a cute little flash animation from WildmanT called "No Package Stan". So check that out too.

New Plume Clips

New Plume clips from HOM at JustHOM. They're in their strings and thongs section. They are currently available in twin packs of either flesh or black. The strings are part of the HOM featherlight thong. As a fun little bonus for the special moments, these strings have a quick-release clip on the left hip. So head on over to JustHOM to check these out.

Jameswinston - The ProFIL Panel

The new Jameswinston Co. line features the ProFIL Panel. The ProFIL (pronounced "profile") panel is a new feature in male enhancement underwear that enhances the look of the packages without any strings or gimmicks, it's simply natural package enhancement. It's all you! The best part about this new feature is that it is still adjustable and you can have as much or as little enhancement as you want. The panel is simply a double-layered front panel that you just adjust to achieve the amount of enhancement that you desire. I'm not entirely sure how this works, but I'll explore and explain this later once I've got my samples and tried them out a bit. In the image below you can see how it really creates a nice profile on the model Sasha. The other image (below) is of Brian James, founder of Jameswinston, and his model Sasha.
UPDATE: Guys, check out the comments on this post for a little explanation from Brian James about the ProFIL panel. Thanks Brian.

The Gregg Homme Extreme Collection is now available at Wyzman. This noteworthy collection is completely see-through and very sexy. It comes in four styles (a shirt, a brief, a pouch, and a boxerbrief) and in four colors (red, white, black, and green). All the styles feature the word "X-TREME" printed on the back. So check out this fun line.

Gap's finest

I've been plying the internet recently for good deals on quality underwear, and I have just acquired some really cool briefs from The Gap. The goods are called an “athletic brief,” which is along the lines of “sport briefs,” “fitted briefs,” or any of the other catch phrases used these days. Basically it all comes down to a collective description: really well fitting, comfortable, supportive, and stylish. All of these qualities describe what I got perfectly. They are made of really soft 100% cotton and have just the right amount of coverage in the seat. The front has a pouch that is also just the right size. In addition, the waistband has a very comfortable, clingly feel to it. Although sources tell me that Gap briefs have a tendancy to stretch out, I have not found this to be the case even after a long day of wear. The brief held its shape quite well as a matter of fact. Repeated wearings may prove otherwise, but for now this does not seem to be a problem. I suspect that a dryer may be fatal to these briefs, shrinking them irreversibly. I base this assumption on the fact that they are 100% cotton and also the weave of the fabric, which has that shrinkable feel to it. I doubt I will take a chance on them.

On Gap.com the underwear is available in solid colors. In the store I have seen them with contrasting stripes and even some graphic prints. All of them are very stylish with contrasting leg openings. What’s even better, they are on sale for about half the price! In all honesty the only thing I would fault them on is the substance of the fabric. It has a good feel, but if it were just a little thicker, it would be top notch.

MY RATING:
Overall, I give the GAP Athletic Briefs a total score of 10 based on the following criteria:
FIT -- 10 (out of 10) -
As of right now, they fit wonderfully.
COMFORT -- 10 (out of 10)
STYLE -- 10 (out of 10)
QUALITY -- 9 (out of 10) - The fabric should have a bit more substance.
VALUE -- 10 (out of 10) - $6.99 Gap.com; can’t beat that.

********** 10
Note from UMan: I have tried some of the GAP boxerbriefs and I have experienced the stretching out that Andy mentioned he had heard tell of. What I've found is that they stretch out as you wear them (after they've been washed once). And if you just put them in the washer (and not the dryer) they stretch out too, but once you put them in the dryer they get back to a comfortable size again. And then the whole cycle repeats once you wear them again.

Cricket Syndicate Update

A few people have been asking me about Cricket Syndicate's new "clones" because I talked about them in a post and told you that they would be arriving sometime in March (their official site still says this even though it is no longer true). While obviously March is over, and they are not here yet. I've been in contact with the folks at Cricket and I have learned the cause behind the delay and that. The reason behind the delay is that this is their first time doing their own screen printing (previously they just bought up remainder T's, but this time around Christopher actually designed all the graphics). "They are now scheduled to be done the third week of April... patience prevailed and the finish screen prints are fabulous! There will be four designs in different sizes and colors." So now you know.

Press Release from Jameswinston Co.

If the previous entry intrigued you to learn a little more about the new line, you can read the following press release from Jameswinston Co. that is all about the new line.

Jameswinston (Underwear) Co. Ltd – UPDATE Apr ‘ 07
PREPARES TO LAUNCH FRESH AND FUNKY NEW ‘RETRO’ RANGE with ‘ProFIL PANEL’ TM

UK web - based men’s underwear brand Jameswinston Co. is shortly to launch it’s new updated ‘Retro’ Spring/Summer 2007 line. Their impending internet marketing campaign features some of the most innovative creative imagery in an industry notorious for generically marketed product.

The new ‘Retro’ range is more contemporary styled than it’s deliberately understated ‘Retro Trunk’ predecessor. The sublime cloth colours palette remains a staple whilst, amongst other facets, clever use of contrast stitching on the garment achieves a definably individual look

Further fit improvement comes in the form of their new ‘ProFIL Panel ‘ TM (pron. Profile) ;- A double-layered, specially cut, front panel that accentuates your ‘crown jewels’ without using tricky string gimmicks or cloth attachments to ‘over – egg’ things. ‘Too little cloth and you’re squashed, too much and you’re saggy - It’s the ultimate in ‘natural’ shape enhancement underwear’. The wearer simply ‘adjusts himself ‘ to achieve maximum asset projection and the cut of our panel does the rest’.

Two new lines are also introduced:- The ‘Retro Hipster’ (the sexy low-rise brother to the ‘Retro’) and the forthcoming (May ‘07) ‘NEON’ TM ‘clubbers pant’ – a tight-fit, hipster/brief hybrid in ‘fluorescent bright’ colours complete with unique ‘metallic look’ cloth labels and racy names such as; Panther, Elektra and Zest. The garment’s main difference - unlike typically cheap, sweaty, synthetic ‘club’ underwear - is it uses the same Cotton / Elastane ® mix as the ‘Retro’ and guarantees an all-night long very wearable experience.

The ‘Retro’ will sell on Jameswinston Co’s website for £13 with the ‘Hipster’ and NEON TM at £11 each.

The current Jameswinston Co. range is available at www.jameswinston.uk.com

Preview of the new Jameswinston line!

The day has finally arrived. I've been waiting for it for a long time. Brian James, co-founder of Jameswinston, has been giving me lots of inside information on the new Jameswinston Co. line for quite a while now, and finally I can share it with you. I am just bursting with excitement to share some of the news from them. I will be continually updating you for the next few weeks up until the final launch. Hopefully my samples will arrive soon and I will be able to share an advanced review with you. The UK based underwear brand has done it again. You may remember that their 'Retro Trunk' range got a perfect score on my review. But somehow they have found a way to improve on perfect. They have decided to step their line up a notch by using lots of fun new colors and styling as well as a fun advertising campaign to get everyone in the world wearing their new line. And trust me, if you haven't tried their skivvies yet you are missing out. More text after photo.

The advertising campaign is fun and funky and includes human modeling of the underwear, as I was hinting at in this post. They have lots of fun new colors and they have added contrast-stitching to the design to add to the overall retro appeal. The new 'Retro' range also includes a new 'ProFIL Pane;' (pronounced Profile). This is a double-layered, specially cut, front panel that accentuates your "crown jewels" without using any tricky string gimmicks or cloth attachments. It truly is "natural" shape enhancement. The wearer simply adjusts to achieve the maximum asset projection and the cut of the panel does the rest. More text after photo.

There are even more new lines being introduced as well. They are: The 'Retro Hipster' and 'NEON'. The retro hipster is just a low-rise version of the 'Retro'. And the 'NEON' is a tight fitting, hipster/brief hybrid in fluorescent colors. It even has metallic looking cloth labels. This is being billed as "club" underwear because it can be worn to the club and it will keep you dry and comfortable. I'm really just loving the way this whole range looks. I can't wait for the whole line to be available. The 'Retro' is going to be sold for £13 and the 'Hipster' and 'NEON' will be sold for £11 a piece. I truly cannot fully express how happy I am to finally be able to make this announcement to you. The quality and style in Jameswinston Co. underwear is truly going to change the way people think about underwear. Not only can you have quality, but you can also have a universal stylishness that appeals to everyone. If you are really loving all the graphics in this post and you want to see more, check out the brand new gallery of preview photos. End of entry, no more text after photo.

A couple great deals...

...from around the web. I normally don't do this, but I was just browsing around on the web for some great underwear to buy and I ran across a couple deals that I just HAVE to share with you. The first is from Overstock.com. I generally don't think of them as a place to buy underwear, but they have it (not very much)! They currently have a great deal on a three-pack of 2(x)ist trunk briefs. They are selling a three-pack for $28.99 - $31.99 (depending on the size). The list price is $60.00, so that's a little under 50% off!

Another deal is from a site that I've never heard of before. But they have a Yves Saint Laurent brief for only £2.99 (and for the Americans, that's about $6.00). So check that out too at Sports Direct.

I don't generally do this, but these deals are just worth sharing.
