Craig Ferguson Tucks in His Banana Republic boxerbriefs

I just wanted to share with you guys this fun(ny) video of talk show host and comedian Craig Ferguson talking about his underwear and sharing them.  He explains that he always tucks his shirt into his undies so that the shirt won't bunch up while on television.  He also mentions that it helps hide his large endowment.  He even pulls down his pants around 00:24 to reveal black Banana Republic brand boxer briefs.

This brings up an interesting question for discussion: when you get dressed up, do you tuck your shirt into your underpants?

Whenever I'm wearin a suit or dress clothes with my shirt tucked in, I wear my shirt tucked into my briefs or jock - for the reason Furguson joked about... it keeps my shirt from riding up. might look odd to the blokes in the locker room but it works.

Must fess up that i always tuck my shirt into my underpants, and never thought it was out of the ordinary. It is comfortable, warm, and neat, so what is the problem?

No problem with tucking my shirt into my underpants - makes hitching them up much easier, and also for package adjustments without having to drop my jeans.

Started tucking my shirt in my underpants about four years ago when I was in college. Do it all the time now and am very comfortable with it. I wear regular white briefs and it did take me a while to get used to the waistband showing but it doesn't bother me now.

My Gramp, Dad and older brothers all tuck their shirts inside their underpants, and I was brought up to dress the same way. Apparently it stems from the days when underpants did not have elastic waistbands, and therefore they needed to be kept up by braces. Today, fewer guys wear braces, although they are now more commonly seen, but the advantages of neatness, adjustment, and warmth in winter still hold good. Try it, you'll be susprised.

Started tucking my shirt inside my underpants in Secondary school (11-16years), as we were punished if our shirttail ever came out of our trousers. Most of my mates did the same, and as it is certainly an efficient and comfortable method of dressing, most of us still dress this way. Surprisingly, I never got a penalty for flashing my waistband, although this was in days before sagging was fashionable.

I too tuck my shirt into my underpants, and don't see a problem. If anyone catches a glimpse of my waistband elastic, so what. It is always fully on show on washdays on my washline. If you live in a block of flats, there is nowhere to hide, so an unintentional flash is no big deal.

At school I used to retuck my shirt inside my pants every 5 minutes, until I followed my mates method of tucking it inside my UNDERpants. It stayed tucke din all day, and I continue to use this way today. The other alternative to keep neat and tidy is to wear braces, which is becoming quite common nowadays.

Always tuck my shirts in my underpants - so much more comfortable and I actually get a bit of thrill from seeing a bit of waistband showing. Think it's becoming more common again these days so thanks Craig for showing yours!!

I have always tucked my shirt inside my underpants as this is the way all the males in my family have dressed. Never thought anything about it was unusual. It is so easy to adjust both jeans and underpants at the same time, and also to undress in a hurry if necessary. Every guy shows his knickers unintentionally on the odd occasion, so I can't see a problem.

Realised most of my mates at school tucked their shirts in their underpants and I have to admit I used to like seeing it and especially when their waistbands showed. Used to really turn me on and so I started tucking mine in and enjoyed knowing my waistband was showing for everyone to see. It also ensured the teachers were not telling me off for my shirt hanging out. I have tucked ever since.

I was always taught to tuck my shirt inside my underwear as a child, and have continued to do so into adulthood. Never thought anything about it. Most of my mates do the same - it makes necessary adjustments of my private parts easy as I don't have to undress to get comfortable.

Now 23, it never crossed my mind that it was unusual to tuck my shirt inside my underpants. Unlike modern youth, I always try to ensure that the elastic waistband does not show, but I have never been ribbed if it accidentally has. As a result my shirt is always neatly tucked, and I can make necessary adjustments to my trousers, shirt and underwear without having to undress to do so.

My Gramp has explained that when underpants did not have elastic, or became weak, it was necessary to dress this way so braces could keep both garments up.

I always tuck my shirts in my briefs, they keep my shirt from riding up, and I never thought anything about it. I've been dressing like this since I was 12, now I'm 30. I make sure the elastic band of my brief doesn't show over my jeans.

Never realised that it appears uncommon to tuck shirts into underwear, before hitting this site. I was dressed this way as a child, and have never thought anything about it. Nobody has ever commented that they have seen my underpants (although I am sure that they must have done), and I am now 22. Indeed, I am often complimented on my smart appearance.

I always tuck my shirt in to my underpants - it feels really nice. I like seeing waist-bands showing on other guys and have done so ever since secondary school where the music teacher would stand in front of us lads with the top of his his Y-fronts showing.

My shirt tucked into my boxerbriefs is just so convenient - easy to hitch or adjust both together, my shirt stays inside my jeans, and easier to remove quickly in an emergency!

Was always dressed this way as a child, and see no reason to change (now 26)

Having my shirt tucked into my underpants makes it so much easier to adjust them without going to the Gents. I accept that on occasions, an inch might show above my jeans, but this is preferable to the sagging which teens still do today! When I pluck up courage to wear braces, my underwear will never show.

I also tuck my shirts in my underwear because the shirt is more secured with it tucked in my underwear. I started tucking my shirts in my underwear when I was 20, but not all the time, until last week, when I started doing it all the time. Since then, I have fell in love with tucking my shirts in my underwear!

I also tuck my shirts in my underwear because the shirt is more secured in my underwear than with it tucked in my pants, and it feels great with my shirt tucked in my underwear! I started this on my own when I was 20, but I wasn't doing it all the time then, but just last week, I started tucking my shirts in my underwear all the time. From then on, I have fell in love with tucking my shirt into my underwear and will continue to do so for the rest of my life.

I've been tucking my shirts in my fruit of the loom briefs since I remember. And I always make sure my elastic band doesn't show up over my trousers but I know that it does at times or when I bend over my briefs may show a little on the back but it doesn't matter me because I've been dressing my shirts inside my underwear all my life. Now I'm 30 and I won't change this method of keeping my shirts always tucked in

great to hear from all the guys who tuck their shirts in the underpants. I've done it since school days and enjoy the feel of it and the look. don't mind showing a little bit of waistband too sometimes.

Never intend my underpants to show, but it is so much more comfortable and convenient to tuck my shirt into them. Everything feels under control, and adjustments are easier, and more private. I am sure that on occasions they do rise above my pants, but nobody has said anything.

When I was about 15 I noticed my Dad wore his shirt tucked in his briefs and his waistband showed sometimes. Then changing at school I noticed that all my mates did as well. I began tucking into my Jockeys and was no longer shouted at for having my shirt hanging out.Stayed warmer in winter as well. I just cannot get excited about someone seeing my waistband showing and when I realise it is on view I simply adjust my trousers.

I too tuck in my briefs usually white color. My shirt it's always tucked inside my waistband and it doesn't show up cause I make sure my shirts match with the elastic waistband color.

Never had a hygiene problem from tucking my shirt into my boxerbriefs, and nobody has ever commented that my underwear was on show (even if it may have been!) Just means that I can adjust my underwear without undressing, so shall continue to use this well-tried method.

The only disadvantage of tucking your shirt inside your underpants is that occasionally the elastic might rise above your jeans, but this is a small price to pay for the advantages, namely shirt stays tucked in neatly, it is warmer in winter, and adjustments can be made without undressing. After all, everyone wears underpants and they are easily seen on washing lines, so what does the odd disclosure matter?

I have never understood the fuss. I have always tucked. Been told a few times my waistband is showing but do I really care. Easy to adjust if needs must. I will continue to tuck even if I do show the world my Jickey waistband now and again.

Having recently been on a diet, and not wanting the expense of replacing all my underwear, I started tucking my shirt inside them so I could make adjustments without undressing, and have found this a most useful method.

I also tuck my shirts inside my underwear since I was 20 because it is more secured and much more comfortable with my shirts tucked inside my undies. From that first day that I started, I have fell in love with tucking my shirts inside my underwear. I just love the looks of my shirts when they are tucked into my underwear. If they show above my waistband of my pants, so what, no big deal, I'll just tell them that's the way I dress.

I first started to tuck the tail of my shirt into my underwear when I was about 9 years old, when I realized that a boy whom I had always found charming and wanted to talk to tucked his shirt in this fashion. He was bending forward to pick up something and lo and behold, out sneaked the brown and white stripes of the waistband of his orange underwear!
The glaring revelation of a secret set the boys who knew him bursting with laughter, teasing him with, "Brown colour tv!", ""White colour tv!" and, from the more observant one, "Orange colour tv!"
I felt bad for Will. I remember the flush on his face and his swear words at his mockers, "FUCK YOUR MOTHER ASSHOLE! GO WATCH YOUR FATHER'S COLOUR TV AND SUCK MY COCK!" I have always thought he was a gentle soul, and so his torrents of swear words shocked me. However, it also sent an adrenalin rush into my groin and a feeling of awe and admiration. I found Jensen (that was what his friends called him) all the more charming than before, though I didn't quite understand what was he swearing. When I reached home that day, I went into my room and pulled down my shorts. I realized a pulse beating wildly inside and my penis bulging hard against my underwear. I was wearing a yellow pair of briefs then, with a white waistband and for the first time, I realized that the waistband of my underwear can be so sexy. So I tucked the shirt of my uniform into it and started to bend over a pillow and visualize friends spotting the colour of my briefs or its waistband, shouting it out and I sort of mimicked what Will had said. Strangely, I could remember the exact words, "FUCK YOUR MOTHER ASSHOLE! GO WATCH YOUR FATHER'S COLOUR TV AND SUCK MY COCK!" As I curled up my body over my pillow, I started an involuntary motion of thrusting my butt rhythmically forward and backward on the pillow. It felt so good on my penis and I felt so powerful that I began to shout the swear words louder and louder, over and over. "Fuck you staring at my waistband!" I thought to myself, not knowing that I was also yelling it out, "Fuck you staring at my underwear. Fuck you staring at how I wear my underwear! What are you staring at? I tucked my shirt inside my underwear, so what? FUCK YOUR MOTHER ASSHOLE! GO WATCH YOUR FATHER'S COLOUR TV AND SUCK MY COCK! I say, come suck my cock! I don't know how you'll suck it. I don't know why I tuck my shirt into my underwear! I don't know why I'm rubbing my cock! I just like it! OOOH, I just like it, cannot is it? It's FUN, it's SOOO FUN, it's SO, SO FUN! OH, LET ME GO, LET ME GO! JUST GO RUB YOUR COCK YOURSELF AND FIND OUT YOURSELF! I SAY, STOP IT, OH, STOP IT, AND STOP ASKING ME WHY!" And then, I came to the answer, my boldness, dirty-talking and victim-play finally brought about my awakening as I gave out the longest groan of extreme pain and ecstatic pleasure as my butt slowed down to the final build-up and the final act - the uncontrollable outburst of my manhood climaxing in hot white sperm gushing out, wave after wave taking over full control of my penis and senses, taking me from total power control to absolute powerlessness over my penis, that in return brings about an intense, yet indescribable sense of gratification, ecstasy and pride.
Even till today, I am constantly looking out for waistbands sticking out of the top of pants or shorts. Whenever I see one, I'm so turned on that I will go somewhere to jack off to the sighting and play hostage to my sensual needs all over again, ending in loud swearing and fetish fantasies self-explained.

If you buy good underwear, Hanro, Zimmerili, Nero Perla, etc., the waist band is pretty tame. Have actually gotten complements about my underwear from the waste band. It is pretty funny when both guys and girls get embarrassed when they realized they just complemented you about your underwear at the office. Funny how they get HR face.

Having recently lost some weight, I have had trouble keeping up my underpants. My jeans can be belted, but by tucking my shirt into my underwear I can clip both into a pair of braces (now very fashionable) which is much cheaper than renewing my wardrobe. Win, win!

In England I was always told that tucking your shirt into your underwear was 'lower class'.

I saw someone in Dallas doing it once at the gym, that was the first time I'd seen anyone do it.

I haven't done it, but maybe I should! I often have trouble with my shirt staying tucked in my trousers. I often buy long length shirts to avoid that problem.

It may be deemed "lower class" to tuck your shirt inside your underpants, although I have never come across that opinion, but it is certainly practical. It means that you can make any necessary adjustments during the day without the need to half undress in the restroom. A high-end elastic waistband peeking above jeans is nothing to be ashamed of!

Have always tucked my shirt into my underpants ever since schooldays when all my friends did the same. It seems the natural thing to do. It's very comfortable and keeps everything in place properly. I know they may show sometimes, but that's ok. My wife is cool with it too!

In a shoe dept of a store in our local town yesterday when I saw a guy leaning forward trying on various pairs of shoes and revealing his Jockey waistband with his red polo shirt tucked deep inside them. The waistband and and inch or so more was plain to see. I felt under my jacket and realised mine had ridden up as well, but the time of year who cares, when I'm tucked in it's warmer and so easy to adjust my underpants. I have no intention of changing y ways now.

I've been tucking my long sleeve shirts inside my briefs since I was 12 when I released my uncle's waistband showed above his belt when he used the restroom even I used to see my brother's in law waistband showing sometimes when he was sitting or bending. My dad, uncle and brother in law have dreesed their shirts inside their trousers all the time but I didn't know it was tucked inside their underpants as well. So I started wearing my shirts inside my underwear since then.

I think that if more guys realised that this method means you can adjust your underwear and your privates without going to the bathroom, they would switch to it. The luxury of being able to easily make the necessary frequent adjustments is well worth the risk of having the logo on your underpants on show. I am now approaching 40, and have dressed this way all my life, but my son (aged 18) has just come round to it, having realised the advantages of long johns in cold weather! They need constant adjustment.

Underpants are the most annoying article of male clothing. They ride up, they slip down they are never in the right place to be comfortable, hence the phrase "knickers in a twist". However, by tucking your shirt inside them the elastic doesn't rub and adjustments are easier. And I am sure that the makers put their names on the waistband for a reason - to be shown! Therefore I do.
