New items from DT Clothes

DT Clothes has launched some new styles just in time for summer. The launch includes new patterned briefs, some new patterned tanks, and a brand new style of boxer called the long boxer short (it looks a little bit like a sliding short). To see all the new products go to the "new" section of their website. I really love the whole DT lifestyle and line of products. Their products are so creative, imaginative, and fun. You will not find anything like DT clothes underwear elsewhere. It is really a fantastic line, and the new additions to it live up to everything that I've come to expect from them. Here's what the new line includes: zapped (shown large on right), megapixel (below from left to right), rubble, starman, eme, and zebity.

New Camo Collection from Papi

The new camo collection from Papi is now available at MaleBasics. It is available in two different camouflage prints and two different styles of underwear (a jockstrap and brief). I have not tried the camouflage line, but from my experience with Papi underwear I'm sure that they are comfortable. I usually don't say this, but just as a demonstration of the quality of Papi, I am currently wearing a Papi brief and I am quite comfortable right now.

Designer Underwear

Why buy designer underwear? Why not just buy Hanes, Fruit of the Loom, Jockey, and other such brands? That is the question that I am often asked. Well there are a lot of reason to buy things besides generic brands. First off there is the quality and comfort factor. You are more likely to get quality and lasting underwear if they don't come in a three-pack. But you do also have to keep in mind that not all expensive underwear is good quality (but in my experience, most of it is). Second, there is the sexy factor. Usually designer underwear tends to look more sexy because it is better fitting and just that whole designer label thing (but there are some people who are so sexy that they can make any underwear look sexy). But this last reason, is what I consider to be my most interesting and most sincere answer. In a country (the USA) where everything is run by money, many dream of owning expensive things, including designer clothing. The thing is, designer clothing can be quite expensive. But if you buy designer underwear you don't necessarily have to be rich to own it because usually underwear is the most inexpensive thing that a designer makes. Also, if someone sees a designer label on your waistband they will assume that you must be wearing all designer clothing. Because after all, not very many people wear designer underwear and Wal-Mart everything else.

dik has its photo taken

This is the fourth installment in a series of posts by dik founder Marcus. Enjoy!
It was a big day today in dik land. Finally, we’ve been able to have our photo shoot! We finished up a little while ago with all our models, photographer and make-up artist. It was a long day for me, starting at 6am.

We did the shoot on location, rather than at a studio. We managed to locate space in a house that provided the perfect backdrops we were after. It was an absolute blast. We can’t wait to have all you guys see the amazing shots we took. The models are unbelievable sexy and we think that you guys will be blown away by the looks of some of the poses that will be used in our advertisements.

Because we had planned to actually do this shoot a few months ago (before we had to switch manufacturers due to unbelievably terrible initial samples), so we were very well prepared. We knew exactly what shots we were going for so there was very little time wasted. All the people involved had also been interviewed and selected well ahead of time. We were very relieved to finally have them able to come over for the shoot. There had been more than one scheduled date that needed to be cancelled.

The extra time was a blessing though. Aside from the shots we had planned for months now, it also allowed us to come up with some additional shots for further marketing and product shots that we hadn’t thought of initially. Had we done this earlier, odds are we would have needed to do another shoot in the near future.

This was the first shoot I have taken part in as the controlling party. It was a great experience. I need to commend all those involved. The models showed up in amazing shape. I think you’ll agree when you see the pictures of just how buff they are.

I LOVE my AFlavor briefs!

No preface is necessary for this review (I've given you the low-down on Artificial Flavor many times before). I'm just going to launch right in. I tried the Artificial Flavor Magnum brief. This brief is definitely towards the top of my list for the most comfortable brief I've ever tried. The fabric is very soft and stretches just enough to allow movement without restriction. The leg bands are loose-enough so that they do not dig into your thighs but they still hold the brief nicely in place. The low-rise design (although it is not advertised as such, it is in fact low-rise) covers up all the crucial bits in a very comfortable and sexy way. The leg holes are very high cut, which may be the reason why the leg bands do not cut or restrict (it is almost a tanga or bikini-like cut). Another thing that adds to the comfort of these briefs is the fact that there are hardly any seams on it. There are just two seams to add a little pouch area up front and one seam underneath (i.e. between the legs) to connect the front and the back piece of fabric. There are no seams on the sides or in the back like one finds on many other pairs of briefs. I absolutely love these briefs. I was not planning on reviewing them at all but after wearing them all day, I realized that I just have to review them and let you know how great they are. As I've said, the fit is very skimpy, but it is still decent. This is the type of brief that just knowing that you are wearing them will make you feel sexy all day long. When I put them on this morning and saw myself in the mirror I just thought to myself how great I looked in them. The style of these is just excellent. I love the colorful, yet simplistic, design. Also, the contrast, asymmetric ribbing across the front pouch makes them look as if they have a functional fly without all the extra bulk (after all, no one really uses their fly on their underwear anyway). I tried a color that they no longer sell at AFlavor (the grey Magnum), but I've got to say, I am really impressed with how white and pristine the waistband has remained after many washes and wears. Artificially Flavor briefs are quality and comfortable briefs that will really change the way you feel about briefs. If you haven't worn briefs in a while or have written them off in the past as uncomfortable, I strongly urge you to try them again because these briefs will change any preconceived notions that you have about them. Just try them, you'll like them! You can buy them at Artificial Flavor or International Jock and many other e-tailers.

Overall, I give the Artificial Flavor magnum briefs a total score of 9.5 based on the following criteria:

JockBoyLocker new site now live!

The count-down for the re-launch of JockBoyLocker was not exactly accurate. But the site is back up again. At first glance the first thing that I notice is a brand new layout (shown in screen-cap above). There's a navbar on the left for searching through their locker in a number of ways (style, brand, etc). And on the right is a bar with a list of brands the brands' logos. The layout is very spiffy. JockBoyLocker has a definite look that they use in all their promotional material. My only complaint is that the layout is a little too wide and may not display correctly on lower resolution monitors (or you may have to scroll horizontally). Another interesting new feature that I have noticed is JockBoyMusic. Now you can have a locker soundtrack while browsing through their undies. So check that out as well. Overall the layout is a nice improvement. So props to jockboys Troy and Benji. I know they have some more exciting things coming up, so stay tuned.

Jock Boy Locker Re-launch

JockBoyLocker is re-launching their site today. There will be a new design. I cannot wait to see what it will be like. According to their count down (screen-shot shown above) it should be done in a little under an hour. Check back a little later and I'll have a full review of the new site.

Correction: Ewan McGregor

A couple days ago I posted about Ewan McGregor and his aussieBum undies. What I wrote was a bit of a fabrication that has been running rampant on the web. It IS true that Ewan McGregor owns and wears aussieBum underwear; however, it is NOT true that he bought so much aussieBum undies that aBum ran a credit check on him. Here's what aussieBum has to say about it in an AusLife post:
We would .. like to state Ewan McGregor did not buy a huge volume of the underwear. He does wear aussieBum gear along with many other fashion labels. This was reported some time ago on him owning some aussieBum undies. This comment ended up in a new article that he bought many of the new Wonderjock underwear. We can assure readers this was not correct and given his reputation we doubt very much there would be a need for this.
I am not sure that I agree with aussieBum in that the wonder jock should only be worn by the under-endowed, I believe all men can use a little lift every now and then. Thank you to reader Ryan for setting me straight, sorry for the confusion.

Celeb Ewan McGregor wears aussieBum...

I was just doing a bit of searching around the web for underwear news and I learned that celebrity Ewan McGregor is way into aussieBum wonderjocks. You may know Ewan as Obi-Wan Kenobi from the Star Wars epic. Anyway, I learned that this Scottish actor ordered such a large amount of aussieBum undies that aussieBum had to do a credit check on him! Now that's a lot of underwear. As aussieBum founder Sean Asby says,
“We found out that Ewan McGregor was buying them only because he made such a huge order and we had to do a credit check.

“The fact these are selling so fast proves size matters to a modern man. The Wonderjocks were originally done as a bit of a joke after someone said to us, ‘Could you do something that makes me look a bit larger?’”

So there you have it folks. And this just goes to show that regular people are not the only ones into designer undies, celebrities are also getting in on the act.
