Swedish golf star Henrik Stenson was forced to shed his clothes the other day in order to hit the ball out of a muddy water hazard without ruining his clothing. He stripped down to just his boxerbriefs, which are a classic Bjorn Borg trunk (available for purchase here at Dead Good Undies)."Because of the mud I couldn't really afford to play in any of my clothes as they would have been a real mess down the last six or so holes so I had no option," said Stenson in Florida after the incident.
"I was only wearing two things when I hit the shot, my jocks and my golf glove - that is the only thing that will appear in the picture aside from the golf club - just the way God created me.
"Shirt, trousers, socks, shoes, hat - the lot was off."
Not sure if there are any rules against this behavior, but it's certainly an unorthodox way of playing and definitely got Stenson some attention. Who knows, maybe he'll become the new face of Bjorn Borg.... And who's to say that this won't become the new trend, soccer (football) stars strip to their skivvies all the time!
