Discussing Skimpy Undies with Davey Wavey

Today YouTube celebrity Davey Wavey discusses undies. Specifically the difference between thongs and jockstraps and his personal preferences.  The video features Davey and his guest Stuart, an underwear model at Dead Good Undies.  Stuart prefers thongs while Davey prefers a jock.  So they decide to switch it up and go for a day on the town in the other one's "pants".  Check out their reasons for their preferences and their findings in this fun video above.  Also there's just some really fun, sexy undies featured in the video.

Disclaimer: no one gets nearly naked or sexy enough.  But the video is still fun! 

Zac Efron Strips Down for "Paperboy"

Here on MUB Zac Efron has been no stranger, there have been numerous underwear sightings of Zefron.  But this time he's intentionally flaunting his undies in the upcoming film "Paperboy", and they're briefs!  In an interview with The Advocate, Efron reveals that he helped pick out those now infamous briefs: 

A: Matthew McConaughey, your Paperboy costar, helped design his thong for Magic Mike. Did you help select your white briefs?
ZE: I did, yeah. It’s a period movie, so there weren’t really a lot of choices. Initially, I wondered if my character would even wear underwear at all. But that would’ve been a very different movie.

Glee Guys in Undies

With the Season 3 premiere of popular TV show Glee tonight, I thought it appropriate to highlight some of the undies seen on some of the Glee guys throughout last season.  Above Artie and Finn can be seen wearing basic white boxer shorts while Mike wears tight, but rather ill-fitting grey boxerbriefs.  Although to be fair, this is the way Zizes imagines her audience in undies, so it may not be exactly what they're wearing.  Earlier in the same episode though, we see Mike sporting some stylish looking Calvin Klein's when he flashes his abs. 

Puck and Sam though are the real surprises.  Puck is sporting some rather cute Star Wars briefs (click on the images to enlarge)- too bad he holds his guitar in front the entire time.  Would love to know where he got them.  

And Sam is wearing some sort of black trunks that look like they have a sort of Western cowboy holster thing going on.  

And of course let's not forget Sam's infamous gold shorts when he plays Rocky.

Celebrity Underwear Sighting: Zac Efron

Once again hunky star Zac Efron lets his pants hang a little low to reveal the waistband of his underwear.  But this time, I am pleased to report, the star has decided to invest a little money in his drawers and get something a little better than Fruit of the Loom (what he was seen wearing previously).  Efron can be seen here sporting some white Calvin Klein trunks or briefs (my bet is for trunks).  And he sure wears them well, maybe CK should consider signing him as their next celebrity model? 

Colin Firth's Oscar gets some Undies

As I'm sure you're all well aware by now, Colin Firth just won the Academy Award for Best Actor this last Sunday for his role in "The King's Speech".  And I must say, he is very deserving of the award.  What you might not know is that prior to the Oscars, Firth made an appearance on the Ellen show where she presented him with a pair of customized tuxedo undies for him to wear to the special occasion.  It is unknown whether he actually wore them to the Oscars or not.  But afterward, he stopped by Ellen's studio to show her his Oscar and thank her for the undies.  He also showed her a tiny replica pair of the undies she gave him that he then put on his Oscar.  Check out the underwear hilarity in the video (above). 

Celebs in Undies: Bieber Caught Again

Leave it to good ol' Justin Bieber to be showing his undies on Camera again. A couple weeks ago we posted about him flashing a purple pair on Ellen DeGeneres' talk show Ellen. Now he was seen in a grey pair of boxerbriefs on the set of the uber-popular T.V. show CSI. In the episode Justin plays a troubled teen. The Green Lantern Wears Briefs

I was just at the movie theater and I couldn't help but notice hunky actor Ryan Reynold's briefs prominently on display in the beginning of the trailer for the Green Lantern.  Reynolds can be seen in the trailer jumping out of bed in his white briefs.  No brand is visible, but they are very well fitting and he wears them well.  He is seen again later in his even skimpier superhero outfit in which he wears what looks to be a thong.  Or is it just a trick of the lighting?  It's hard to tell. Whatever he's wearing it's tight and it's hot.  Looking forward for the movie to come out in June.

Celebrity Underwear Sighting: Joe Jonas

The Jonas Brothers are becoming increasingly popular and with popularity comes more photos. So why not some underwear photos? Here Joe Jonas' white brief lines are clearly visible through his white athletic shorts while playing baseball. And in case you were wondering, the Jobros are known to switch it up with their underwear between boxerbriefs and briefs.

Celebrity Underwear Sighting: Henrik Stenson

Swedish golf star Henrik Stenson was forced to shed his clothes the other day in order to hit the ball out of a muddy water hazard without ruining his clothing. He stripped down to just his boxerbriefs, which are a classic Bjorn Borg trunk (available for purchase here at Dead Good Undies).

"Because of the mud I couldn't really afford to play in any of my clothes as they would have been a real mess down the last six or so holes so I had no option," said Stenson in Florida after the incident.

"I was only wearing two things when I hit the shot, my jocks and my golf glove - that is the only thing that will appear in the picture aside from the golf club - just the way God created me.

"Shirt, trousers, socks, shoes, hat - the lot was off."

Not sure if there are any rules against this behavior, but it's certainly an unorthodox way of playing and definitely got Stenson some attention. Who knows, maybe he'll become the new face of Bjorn Borg.... And who's to say that this won't become the new trend, soccer (football) stars strip to their skivvies all the time!

More of Zac Efron's Underwear

It seems that Zac Efron doesn't just wear FTL briefs (photos and post). He also seems to be a fan of Calvin Klein boxerbriefs/briefs and boxers. So maybe I was a little too hasty in judging Zac's underwear tastes; Calvin Klein is a much better choice. Or perhaps he ran across this blog in his searching and decided to take our tips. Teen actor William Moseley who plays King Peter in The Chronicles of Narnia movie series is seen here sporting his Tommy Hilfiger boxers. Who knew Moseley had such a great body, too bad we don't see more of it in the movies. I must give credit where credit is due: I found this photo on Adrian's blog.

Celebrity Underwear Sighting: David Beckham

It looks like Beckham doesn't just wear Armani for the adverts, he seems to really be wearing them as underwear (he was previously a known Calvin Klein fan). What Daniel Radcliffe prefers underneath...

In this interview Daniel Radcliffe confirms that he prefers briefs, although not the super-tight kind. This is the first question in the interview, so you don't have to listen to the whole thing, but you can if you want. Even though Dan wears boxers on stage in Equus, he prefers briefs in real life. Wonder why he didn't lobby to wear briefs in the show?

David Beckham for Giorgio Armani

The first of many images from the new Giorgio Armani campaign featuring David Beckham has finally surfaced. The campaign will officially launch in February in Vanity magazine. Many people speculate that this image may be slightly enhanced, if you know what I mean, but I say, do whatever is necessary to look good and sell the products. We will definitely be seeing a lot more of David for Armani in the future.

Celebrity Underwear Sighting: Shia LaBeouf

Another Disney Channel star has flashed us his underpants. Shia LaBeouf, star of Disturbia and Transformers, recently flashed his chest and revealed that he was wearing black Calvin Klein briefs or boxerbriefs. I've gotta say, at least this Disney star has a little more taste in the underwear department than his channel-sharer Zac Efron. This photo is from Shia's appearance on MTV's TRL (Total Request Live), I'm not sure exactly what the message on his chest ("I [heart] Hilary") is referring to, so if you know, please let us know.
