Core-point Underwear (re)launched!

As I alerted you a while back, Check-point is now officially re-launched as Core-Point. Their styles are very similar to what they had going on before. The only major difference is that they have discontinued their boxer shorts. I think this is rather interesting and shows an increasing trend towards trunks and briefs instead of boxer shorts among the fashionable consumer. The fall line, however, has some exciting things in store (hopefully I'll be able to give you all a sneak peek soon). If you don't remember about Core-Point (formerly Check-point). Basically Core-point makes street inspired underwear for men. They have trunks and low-rise trunks in multiple colors and unique street prints. The whole line revolves around the motto "Be Different Inside". Go check out their site, you are bound to find something of interest. Checkpoint Underwear Update

You may remember my post about a very cool brand of underwear called Checkpoint. Well I am sorry to report that they are no more. But don't fret. It's not as bad as it sounds. What happened is that Checkpoint was approached by lawyers and informed that their name had already been trade-marked. So after much negotiating, Stephane from Checkpoint informs me that "Checkpoint underwear has become CORE-POINT". Well you can imagine what this means in terms of the product. They must completely restart from scratch in developing the elastic waistbands and the packaging. As of my last conversation with Stephane (which was in late March) the rough release is early May. I just thought you might like to know.

Checkpoint Underwear

Today I'd like to tell you about a really cool new brand in the underwear world. It is Checkpoint Underwear. They officially launched this November. It was started by three French guys who currently live in Hong Kong. What a perfect group to make a great new line. The French are known for their great fashion in clothing and in men's underwear. And Asia in general is known for fun and innovative men's underwear fashions. So mix the two together and you get a fun line that they are billing as "genuine streetware". They're line was created because they were frustrated with men's underwear. They believe that you should "change your inside fashion life with underwear you would be proud to wear." The line was inspired by their busy urban lives in Hong Kong and Tokyo. It is a very cool line so be sure to check them out. They would make a great gift for the trendy urbanite in your life.
