Press Release from Jameswinston Co.
Jameswinston (Underwear) Co. Ltd – UPDATE Apr ‘ 07
PREPARES TO LAUNCH FRESH AND FUNKY NEW ‘RETRO’ RANGE with ‘ProFIL PANEL’ TM
UK web - based men’s underwear brand Jameswinston Co. is shortly to launch it’s new updated ‘Retro’ Spring/Summer 2007 line. Their impending internet marketing campaign features some of the most innovative creative imagery in an industry notorious for generically marketed product.
The new ‘Retro’ range is more contemporary styled than it’s deliberately understated ‘Retro Trunk’ predecessor. The sublime cloth colours palette remains a staple whilst, amongst other facets, clever use of contrast stitching on the garment achieves a definably individual look
Further fit improvement comes in the form of their new ‘ProFIL Panel ‘ TM (pron. Profile) ;- A double-layered, specially cut, front panel that accentuates your ‘crown jewels’ without using tricky string gimmicks or cloth attachments to ‘over – egg’ things. ‘Too little cloth and you’re squashed, too much and you’re saggy - It’s the ultimate in ‘natural’ shape enhancement underwear’. The wearer simply ‘adjusts himself ‘ to achieve maximum asset projection and the cut of our panel does the rest’.
Two new lines are also introduced:- The ‘Retro Hipster’ (the sexy low-rise brother to the ‘Retro’) and the forthcoming (May ‘07) ‘NEON’ TM ‘clubbers pant’ – a tight-fit, hipster/brief hybrid in ‘fluorescent bright’ colours complete with unique ‘metallic look’ cloth labels and racy names such as; Panther, Elektra and Zest. The garment’s main difference - unlike typically cheap, sweaty, synthetic ‘club’ underwear - is it uses the same Cotton / Elastane ® mix as the ‘Retro’ and guarantees an all-night long very wearable experience.
The ‘Retro’ will sell on Jameswinston Co’s website for £13 with the ‘Hipster’ and NEON TM at £11 each.
The current Jameswinston Co. range is available at www.jameswinston.uk.com

Preview of the new Jameswinston line!
The day has finally arrived. I've been waiting for it for a long time. Brian James, co-founder of Jameswinston, has been giving me lots of inside information on the new Jameswinston Co. line for quite a while now, and finally I can share it with you. I am just bursting with excitement to share some of the news from them. I will be continually updating you for the next few weeks up until the final launch. Hopefully my samples will arrive soon and I will be able to share an advanced review with you. The UK based underwear brand has done it again. You may remember that their 'Retro Trunk' range got a perfect score on my review. But somehow they have found a way to improve on perfect. They have decided to step their line up a notch by using lots of fun new colors and styling as well as a fun advertising campaign to get everyone in the world wearing their new line. And trust me, if you haven't tried their skivvies yet you are missing out. More text after photo.
The advertising campaign is fun and funky and includes human modeling of the underwear, as I was hinting at in this post. They have lots of fun new colors and they have added contrast-stitching to the design to add to the overall retro appeal. The new 'Retro' range also includes a new 'ProFIL Pane;' (pronounced Profile). This is a double-layered, specially cut, front panel that accentuates your "crown jewels" without using any tricky string gimmicks or cloth attachments. It truly is "natural" shape enhancement. The wearer simply adjusts to achieve the maximum asset projection and the cut of the panel does the rest. More text after photo.
There are even more new lines being introduced as well. They are: The 'Retro Hipster' and 'NEON'. The retro hipster is just a low-rise version of the 'Retro'. And the 'NEON' is a tight fitting, hipster/brief hybrid in fluorescent colors. It even has metallic looking cloth labels. This is being billed as "club" underwear because it can be worn to the club and it will keep you dry and comfortable. I'm really just loving the way this whole range looks. I can't wait for the whole line to be available. The 'Retro' is going to be sold for £13 and the 'Hipster' and 'NEON' will be
sold for £11 a piece. I truly cannot fully express how happy I am to finally be able to make this announcement to you. The quality and style in Jameswinston Co. underwear is truly going to change the way people think about underwear. Not only can you have quality, but you can also have a universal stylishness that appeals to everyone. If you are really loving all the graphics in this post and you want to see more, check out the brand new gallery of preview photos. End of entry, no more text after photo.

A couple great deals...
...from around the web. I normally don't do this, but I was just browsing around on the web for some great underwear to buy and I ran across a couple deals that I just HAVE to share with you. The first is from Overstock.com. I generally don't think of them as a place to buy underwear, but they have it (not very much)! They currently have a great deal on a three-pack of 2(x)ist trunk briefs. They are selling a three-pack for $28.99 - $31.99 (depending on the size). The list price is $60.00, so that's a little under 50% off!
Another deal is from a site that I've never heard of before. But they have a Yves Saint Laurent brief for only £2.99 (and for the Americans, that's about $6.00). So check that out too at Sports Direct.Contest Update... enter ASAP

Kiniki

Kiniki is a great shop that offers lots of Kiniki brand underwear in addition to quite a few other brands. They have been around for a while, but their greatness just recently came to my attention when I was contacted and told to browse around their site and look for some thing that I'd like to review. So I did, and I was amazed at the vast selection that they have to offer just within their ow
n brand. No matter what kind of guy you are, they'll have something fun that you'll love to wear. Whether you're a boxer guy or a posing strap guy. They have everything in between. They have a huge selection of boxers, trunks, briefs, thongs, g-strings, tangas, pouches, and swimwear. And everything is in all different rises and designs. I am sure you will be just as impressed with their selection as I was. They also offer other brands, including: HOM, Calvin Klein, Fruit of the Loom, and Maxamillian (there may be more).
And if that's not enough, they also have a blog all about their brand! So be sure to stop by Kiniki, I'm sure you will find something to like. And be on the lookout for reviews of Kiniki products on UB.Sunday, April 01, 2007
New Trend: Double Waistband
I was inspired by a comment by a user to write this post. The commenter, Daniel, said that he wished that the new ball lifter from WildmanT came with different colored waistbands so one doesn't get a double waistband effect if one wears it under another pair of underwear. I pointed out that some underwear, like this Unico one, is designed with two waistbands. But I had no idea how much this is actually a trend until I was browsing Raffaello and I found that Dolce and Gabbana offers many pairs of underwear with two waistbands in their Spring 2007 collection. And I said to myself, if D&G is doing it then it is definitely a trend that is on the rise. So since it is obvious that this trend is just going to get bigger and will be here for a while, I thought I'd let you in on this information. Here's the links to some of the D&G underwear that has this trend:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (shown), 6, 7,
Also, if you don't want to pay the D&G prices to accomplish this look, you could actually wear two pairs of underwear (I'd suggest wearing a regular one on the inside and a low-rise one on the outside).
I'd really like to hear your thoughts on this trend, let me know in a comment on this post.
