Today I'm pleased to announce the launch of our aussieBum contest. Yes the one I hinted at on Friday. You may remember a while back I blogged about the new aussieBum MyDay collection. Well only Monday and Tuesday are out for the public. But aussieBum is giving MUB readers the exclusive opportunity to get their hands on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday pairs before they're released.
In the past we've done all sorts of different methods for having you enter contests. But this time we're gonna do it a little different. We want YOU to be more creative. And what about the number of winners? Well that all depends on how many great entries you guys submit. We will be giving away at least 6 pairs, but who knows, we may decide to give out more.
Here's what you have to do. In keeping with the MyDay collection, we want you to choose your favorite day of the week, be it Friday, Saturday, or something in the middle of the week, and we want you to take a picture involving underwear that evokes your feelings about that day. You do not have to be wearing the underwear, but it has to be in the picture. And then we want a sentence or two explaining why it is your favorite day and how the picture relates. For example, Wednesday might be your favorite day because you get to go home early and make love with your spouse all night. So you may want to take a picture of your sexy undies thrown across a romantic bed covered in rose petals and candles. That's just an idea, I know you guys can think of many more. Once you've taken your photo, send it and the paragraphs to me via email (underwearblog - at - gmail.com) and be sure to make the subject line include "My favorite day".

- Submit a photo of you in your favorite pair of underwear and tell us why it's your favorite.
- Or you can comment on a post on this site from the past three months. Be sure to include the words "MyDay Contest Entry" at the end of your post so we know that's what you're doing. Then send us an email with a link to your comment for it to count. Be sure to write something thoughtful as they will be judged qualitatively, not selected randomly.
You may only do one entry and one entry method per day.
The better the entries are, the more pairs we will be giving away. The contest will end at Midnight on Halloween, October 31, 2010 November 7, 2010. So send your entries in before that or you might turn into a pumpkin!
Now just a few technical details:
-No exposed bits (we have to be able to post these on the site)-1 entry per day
-the photo can be of any brand of underwear, not just aussieBum
-enter only your own photos, not your friends or net shots (if we doubt it's you we may ask for verification)
-Entry times will be calculated off of EST.
-The entry period 10/24/10 -
-Decisions of the judges are final and are subjective.
-Your entries will become the property of MUB and aussieBum and may be posted on this site and affiliated sites even if you do not win.
-There will be at least six winners.
-MUB and aussieBum reserve the right to change the rules as needed.

Contests should be complicated to enter... it's what makes winning that much more savory. If the prize is just handed to you then it takes out most of the fun in the adventure to get there.
