$250 of free dik, plus an update

dik has certainly had a busy June, what with appearing at pride festivities, taking pre-orders, and perfecting their product. The folks at dik are absolutely amazed by the positive response to their new line and they want to thank all of you who booked your dik early. They are going to start shipping soon. If you have not yet taken advantage of their 15% off pre-order promotion, make sure to do so now. The deal will expire on July 1st (it seems that everything that I've posted about today expires on that date). And as always, if you order 5 or more items dik will cover your shipping costs. This past weekend dik debuted at the Toronto Pride festival. A lot of people visited their booth on Church Street. They also were featured in a fashion show. dik tells us that "The models looked amazing in our gear and the crowd loved seeing dik on the stage. It was a fantastic weekend and we thank all those who stopped by to meet us and take a look at our garments in person. Based on the influx of orders after Pride, we know that people were impressed with our garments!"

Now onto the exciting part that probably caught your attention. dik is giving away $250 worth of products, that's right dik is up for grabs! dik is combining efforts with XYYZ.ca, which is a targeted-lifestyle website for men. The folks at dik are currently sponsoring XYYZ's "Tell a Friend and WIN!" section. All you have to do is enter the name and e-mail address of five of your friends to tell them about XYYZ and you will be automatically entered to win $250 worth of free dik underwear (your choice)! The contest just runs for the remainder of the week, so don't miss out. Good luck to all of you and I hope you win.

[Edit]: A reader left a note about how the terms and conditions of this contest stated that one basically had to be in Toronto to win. I contacted dik and that is the case no more. They are now prepared to ship to the winner wherever he may live.

Not worth entering unless you live in Toronto - have a look at this condition of the contest:

5. Prize: a selection of dik undergarmets worth $250. Winner will be contacted by phone or email and asked to pick up prize at a location designated by XY Media. If the winner does not claim the prize within 1 day of the draw, the next eligible entry selected by random draw will be contacted, and the first entrant selected will have no further claim to the prize. XY Media will not mail or courier prizes and is not responsible for unclaimed prizes. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are non-transferable. There is no cash substitute or substitution of goods and services, except at the option of the Sponsor.

Hmmm.. Thank you anonymous for this insight. I didn't know that this applied as the people at dik told me that the winner gets to choose the selection, and this sounds like you don't get to choose. I'll check with my contacts at dik about this to verify it.

I don't mean to offend. Just that Dik won't appeal to me even when I'm an avid men's underwear collector. It's simply too simple. The waist is cut too high up. Nothing makes the crotch stand out. Nothing spectacular about it at all. It's like 2xist when it first came out but without the crotch enhancement. Sorry, Dik is not something for me. :(

I have contacted dik and anonymous, you were correct. But since I contacted them, dik has now arranged to send the underwear to wherever the winner is! So thank you for pointing that out.

Titanite, I can totally understand that. But let's wait to judge until we have actual product in hands. Also, they have plans to expand their line in the future, so maybe that will offer something you like. No you do not offend, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. And I do not yet have a full opinion of dik since I have not yet had the opportunity to give it a try.

Hi Titanite,

Thanks for your comments, they are appreciated. Feedback from people allows us to sculpt our future offerings in the way consumers want. That being said, we also realize we can't please everyone all the time. I would encourage you to stay tuned and perhaps one day in the future there will be a dik for you.

If you'd like to get in touch with me please do so. I always encourage customers, and potential customers go to the website and find our email address list, and drop me a line. I'll get it. Your opinion is important, and like I said, helps us in the future.

Cheers,

Marcus
